The family business was a dream for two siblings, Tania and Luigi, inherited from their father Beniamino: this dream became a reality when the two siblings asked their father to help them make it happen. Beniamino's passion for vineyards and his love for wine was passed down to his children, and his entrepreneurial talent gave birth to "Tenuta Moriniello".
The journey, which lasted almost five years, led the Moriniello family to tour the wonderful areas of Tuscany, to meet people and listen to their stories and legends, culminating in the belief that great wines are born in enchanting places. Places characterised by sinuous hills and territories exposed perennially to the sun, which, unsurprisingly, give the best grapes, harvesting from the earth all that our eyes recognise as simply wonderful landscapes.
A love for challenges and devotion to work led the drive to acquire the property now known as “Tenuta Moriniello”. As every change stems from deep knowledge of its origins, the Moriniello family established an invaluable collaboration with the previous owner and his winemaker. Thanks to their advice and expert knowledge of the territory, “Tenuta Moriniello” continues to live its bond with tradition, while looking towards the future.
Starting from these solid foundations, the family has been able to make the most of the extraordinary climatic qualities of the area, through improvements and investments in both its vineyards and wine cellar, which have made it possible to increase the quality of the wines.
