The name Terre Sikane has always been recognized as an expression of Sicily's finest wine and agricultural sector. It is a young company founded on great expertise and quality, which was immediately appreciated on the international scene, and by leading experts, for the quality of its wines, extra virgin olive oil and fruit production. The Terresikane brand perfectly expresses the love that binds the Sciacchitano family to its territory: Sicily. The logo, in fact, consists of three "S's" (Sciacchitano, Sicily and the number three of the Triscele) which form a unique Triskelion, a familiar design. The Triskelion has different meanings and embodies the Terresikane business philosophy that combines tradition and innovation, focusing on the growth of its audience. The company has 58 hectares of land, of which 23 are entirely dedicated to vineyards. Our vines are located in the territory of Butera, a geographical area particularly suited to the production of excellent wines, thanks to its especially mild climate all year round and to the fresh sea breeze that continually embraces our vines. Our range of wines consists of: young and barricaded, pure Nero d'Avola; Nero d'Avola and Merlot; Cricket; Chardonnay; Syrah and a Brut sparkling wine. The quality of our wines has been affirmed by the awards received at the most well-respected international wine competitions: in 2014, the Turchiotto - a Grillo with a fresh and harmonious taste - was twice awarded the silver medal at Mundus Vini. Its quality was confirmed once again when it secured the seal of approval at the prestigious Decanter WorldWine Awards in 2017, at which our Frasciano, a barricaded nero d'avola with a strong and full-bodied taste, also won a bronze medal. In addition, the company produces extra virgin olive oil derived exclusively from its own olive groves and marketed in elegant bottles. The corporate strategy seeks to establish a product development policy that is consistent with evolving demand and emerging consumption habits.
