Voglia di Puglia was born 20 years ago, thanks to the inheritance of centuries-old olive groves, trees that tell a story of 500 years. Maria’s passion, the owner of the company, pushed her to persevere them, managing to move the company from a garage to a real workshop, overcoming all obstacles with determination.
Voglia di Puglia is a short production chain company in which the majority of the ingredients are produced internally, preserved using ancient methods, enhanced by typical recipes and then shipped all over the world.
Voglia di Puglia products are made according to traditional methods, without the use of any preservatives or acidifiers. The ingredients are simple: fresh vegetables and monocultivar Peranzana extra virgin olive oil, which offers the uniqueness and flavour of oil preserves from the past.
Featured in slow food guides, in 2006 the company was awarded first prize for its sauces and appetizers by Paolo Massobrio's "Golosario".
In addition, the company’s love for its olive groves and the oil’s mineral green colour have given life to the Federico II olive oil, included in Gambero Rosso’s 2021 guide to Italian olive oils.
