It aids both intellectual and physical activity thanks to its digestibility and excellent energy supply due to a high starch content.
It is one of the richest grains in minerals (including iron, magnesium, phosphorus and silicon) and vitamins (A and B).
Its health benefits are enhanced by its high digestibility, making it particularly suitable for those suffering from stomach acidity or in need of an energy boosting food, especially at the end of the winter period.
It does not contain gluten and is indicated for celiacs. It can be used in various recipes to make soups and meatballs.
