The company is located in the Municipality of Baone (PD), south-east of Monte Cecilia, in the "heart" of the Euganean Hills Regional Natural Park. Il Filò delle Vigne is located at an altitude of 50-200m above sea level. The soils are formed from whitish limestone, of sedimentary origin; thanks to their physical-mineral composition they give a particular flavour to the wine produced.
Where the vineyards are cultivated there is a warmer climate than other slopes on the Hills, giving rise to a particular and sunny microclimate.
This peculiarity contributes significantly to the production of wines (especially red wines) of exclusive and high quality in terms of colour, fragrance, flavour, structure, harmony and pleasantness.
A great deal of passion and dedication in both the vineyard and the cellar, aware that the excellence of the wine is the result of a rational alcoholic fermentation of the must of a large grape obtained from vines grown in stony, crusty limestone soils that give the wine elements a marked flavour, resulting from expert winegrowing techniques . For Il Filò wine is art, civilisation, friendship, health, if chosen carefully and drunk sensibly.
