Produced from Mantonico grapes harvested in the second half of September which are dried in the sun for 7-10 days, gently pressed and then carefully fermented in steel tanks. Mantonico IGT passito wine is amber yellow with copper highlights. It is smooth and warm on the palate with hints of licorice and ripe fruit. Intense, heady, persistent and fruity. This wine maintains and develops its organoleptic properties for over a decade. Winner of a Gold Medal from Città del Vino/Mayor's Selection 2016 and the 1st Prize IX edition of "Laghi di vini" 2016. A sweet wine to be served cold as an aperitif or at room temperature as a meditation wine.
