The experience of four generations of millers combined with the modern skills and innovative spirit of young Pietro Intini, a rigorous selection of raw materials and a constant struggle for quality, for what can currently be called one of the best extra virgin olive oils in the world.
The Intini company was founded in the hills of Alberobello, in Puglia, and its extra-virgin olive oil, which boasts extraordinary beneficial qualities, has won over the most important juries in the world. It was young Pietro Intini who revolutionized the family business by channeling the ancient tradition into a great investment in technology and in the recovery of native biodiversity.
Its strengths include quality and traceability, painstaking care at every stage of production and significant focus on consumer health and biodiversity.
At the root of its success lies an interesting contrast: between the traditional methods of collecting raw materials, far from modern mechanisation processes, and cutting-edge technology, all within the walls of the mill.
Olio Intini uses modern continuous extraction lines that allow the production of oil in the absence of oxygen thanks to the inertization of the entire production process. It is one of the few oil mills in Italy that can boast the coexistence of as many as 4 crushing systems and different kneading methods, chosen on the basis of the year's harvest, the cultivars and their degree of ripeness. The oil is filtered immediately and stored at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks before finally going through the sophisticated bottling process: perfect product preservability is guaranteed thanks to the insertion of a small quantity of inert gas into each bottle.
