Antica Fattoria di Caserotta farm has very ancient origins, the lands were once owned by the noble Tuscan Ganucci Cancellieri family. Currently, the management of the company is in the hands of Caterina, a young entrepreneur, who after graduating from Agricultural Science decided to throw herself into the adventure of making the farm and the farmhouse a Chianti jewel. The company is spread over 70 hectares of land and includes vineyards, olive groves and woods in the heart of the rolling Chianti Classico hills. Today it is run in accordance with organic farming standards and therefore pays special attention to the environment and to the healthiness of its products. Thanks to its unwavering determination, the company produces high quality oil, part of which is registered Chianti Classico DOP. The oil is called "Amadore" in honour of a member of the Cancellieri family, who dedicated himself to the development of the family farm as early as the year 1100, and it comes in different versions of prized oils, each one differing in taste and aroma. Moraiolo, Frantoio, Leccino, Leccio del Corno, Pendolino and Madonna dell'Impruneta are the typical olive varieties of the area that make up our oils, in varying proportions to reach the desired flavour. It is precisely this quest for unique taste that makes the company a significant resource in the Chianti area. Our Chianti Classico grapes are used to produce high quality Red and Rosé wines. The cultivation method is aimed at innovation yet remains tied to the wine production traditions of our hills.
