From the shores of Lake Trasimeno strong>, this red wine is made from Sangiovese 70%, Gamay del Trasimeno 20% and Merlot 10% grapes. The vineyards look southwest, have an average age of 15 years and grow at an altitude of 320m asl. The training system is the spurred cordon, and there are 5,000 vines per hectare. The soil is generally clayey, production per hectare is 80 quintals. Fermentation for 10 days; maceration on the strong> skins strong> for 18-20 days; soft pressed; aged for 6 months in steel vats.
