Cognà all’Albese - for cheese and meat

Cognà all'Albese is made following an old recipe popular in the Langhe area and the town of Alba (Piedmont), which was traditionally prepared by housewives. Prepared by cooking Dolcetto grape must, pears, apples, quinces, hazelnuts and nuts. To be enjoyed especially on bread, but also adds zest to cooked meats and cheeses. Served with polenta, it is really divine.

The Prunotto Mariangela Farm uses sustainable agriculture methods and since 1995 has adhered to the "Agro Food Programme for the Implementation of Regulation EEC 2078/92", the only one that permits minimal toxic residue on fruit, in order to protect the environment and the consumer.
