Produced in the area covered by the Grave del Friuli Consortium, it is cultivated in a medium clayey and calcareous soil, with the presence of gravel. Pinot Grigio DOC owes its name to its characteristic pale yellow colour with a slightly coppery hue. Vinified with a few hours of cold maceration, from which the skins of the grapes are subsequently separated by means of a soft pressing, this wine has a strength of 12.5°. It releases intense, harmonious and complex aromas, with clear notes of citrus, apricot and linden flowers, accompanied by hints of flint, candied fruit, honey and biscuits. It has a full, intense and very balanced taste. In its complexity hints of cherry, golden apple and mango pulp may be perceived, along with an elegant and marked minerality. It is particularly suitable with fish dishes, mollusc appetisers, risottoes and vegetable flans, served at a temperature of 10-12°C.
