Obtained from 100% Glera grapes, cultivated on gravelly soils rich in silt and sand, DOC Treviso Prosecco Brut is a sparkling wine nobly refermented according to the Charmat method, with slow refermentation for at least 45 days at a low temperature. A pale straw-yellow wine made crystalline by a fine and lingering perlage, with a strength of 11%. The bouquet offers pleasant notes of acacia white flowers and hints of unripe fruit, apple and pear standing out. It has a fresh and flavoursome taste that later gives way to an acidic finish. Served at a temperature of 6-8°C, it is excellent as an aperitif and an ideal accompaniment for fish, shellfish and molluscs.
